Jasmine Harman

What would be the ONE meal you could not live without?

Since we became parents and don't have a social life any more (!), it has become a bit of a tradition in my house to have a take-away curry on a Friday night.

What would be the ONE thing you could not live without?

I hate to admit it, I'd be completely lost without my smart phone. I genuinely can't remember life before we had access to the world wide web at our fingertips!

What would be the ONE thing you would take to a desert island?

Assuming there is food and water there, I'd take Sunscreen. After more than a decade constantly working in the blazing sun, I've become a teeny, tiny bit obsessed with keeping my skin protected.

What ONE surprising fact do you have that our audience should know about you?

I'm vegan. I've been vegetarian since childhood and decided to go vegan when my daughter was born. People are always surprised when I tell them I'm vegan, often commenting "but you look so healthy" which always makes me chuckle!

JASMINE HARMAN

Jasmine Harman is best known for being the face of Channel 4’s award-winning A Place in the Sun, providing families with the option of living their dream life abroad. The show has been on air for over 20 years and ratings only continue to soar, with it now broadcast in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa. Coming soon to Channel 4 is her latest project, ‘Jasmine’s Renovation In the Sun’, which will follow Jasmine and her family as they take the plunge to purchase and renovate a rundown Spanish Villa.

Jasmine fronted a very personal documentary for BBC One called My Hoarder Mum and Me, which followed her family’s attempts to overcome her mother’s Compulsive Hoarding Disorder. This ground-breaking film opened the world’s eyes to the symptoms of hoarding and the show then went on to become a series, Britain’s Biggest Hoarders (BBC One). She went on to set up her own website, Hoarding.Support, which is an online resource to provide support for individuals and their families who are effected by Compulsive Hoarding Disorder.
