    The Mountain Home High School Athletic Hall of Honor ceremony will be held at noon Saturday at the high school cafeteria.

    Two state championship golf teams, one state baseball tournament MVP, one all-state football player, and two long-time supporters comprise this year's group.

    Derin McMains

    Derin McMains was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and moved to Mountain Home in 1986. He began attending Mountain Home School District when he was in the first grade and graduated from MHHS in 1997.

    As a Bomber, he was a three-year member of the basketball and baseball teams. During his athletic career, he earned many honors: 1996-1997 AAAA-Central All-Conference basketball; 1995 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Arkansas sophomore team baseball; 1996 and 1997 AAAA-Central All-Conference baseball; and all-state during his 1997 senior baseball season.
