Sir Harry Burrard Neale
1765-1840. He was born in Lymington on 16 September 1765, the eldest son of Lieutenant-Colonel William Burrard (1712-80), the governor of Yarmouth Castle on the Isle of Wight, and his second wife, Mary Pearce, of Lymington. He was the first cousin of General Sir Harry Burrard.
After an education at Christchurch Grammar School, he entered the navy on 4 March 1778 under the name of Burrard aboard the Roebuck 44, Captain Andrew Snape Hamond, and was present at the capture of Charleston on 11 May 1780. On 3 July 1781 he moved into the Chatham 50, commanded by Hamond’s nephew, Captain Andrew Snape Douglas, in which he witnessed the capture of the French frigate Magicienne 32 off Boston on 2 September 1781. Appointed an acting-lieutenant on 19 April 1783, he returned to England later that summer aboard the Perseverance 36, Captain Skeffington Lutwidge, and on 24 June joined the Portsmouth guardship Hector 74, which was commanded until his death in January by Captain Sir John Hamilton.

Born in Watford on 4 December 1897, and baptised on 7 April 1898 at St Andrew’s, Watford, Harry Neale was the son of Richard William and Mary Eliza (nee Clements) Neale. His parents were married on 30 August 1891 at St John’s, Kensal Green, London and they had eight children, two of whom died in childhood. Mary died in 1948, aged 80, and Richard died in 1949, aged 80, both in the Watford registration district.
At the 1901 Census, Harry was 3 years old and living at 112 Estcourt Road in Watford with his parents and two older brothers. His father is 31 years old and working as a foreman at a builders’ merchants. His mother and older brothers, William and George, are 33, 9 and 5 years old respectively. The birthplaces are given as Leavesden in Hertfordshire for Richard, Southall in Middlesex for both Mary and William and Watford in Hertfordshire for both George and Harry. Also present are two boarders, Samuel Parke and John Walker, who are both coal carters.

Harold Watson Neale[1] (born March 9, 1937) is a Canadian retired NCAA, NHL and WHA coach and general manager, and ice hockey broadcaster.
Coaching career
Following his playing career, Neale got his head coaching start at Hill Park Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, where he also taught social studies and physical education.[2]
In 1966, he replaced Glen Sonmor at Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, he was a physical fitness trainer for the Ohio State football team. He coached the Buckeyes for four seasons compiling a 49-48-3 record. He left Ohio State in 1970 to coach junior hockey in Hamilton.
Neale was hired as assistant coach of the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the WHA in 1972. He replaced Sonmor again as head coach late in the 1972–73 season. He remained head coach until the Fighting Saints franchise folded during the 1975–76 season. Following Minnesota, Neale remained in the WHA as head coach
