Former actor Ariosto Reyes Jr. died on August 23, Sunday after battling cancer.

Colleagues, friends, schoolmates, and his goddaughter confirmed his death on social media.

Ariosto’s goddaughter said in a Facebook post on Saturday that her “wonderful godfather is currently experiencing his last days on Earth, and ending his battle with complications from an illness.”

“Please offer a little prayer for him as he starts his journey home to God.”

She also shared a video of Ariosto recording a rendition of “Salamat sa Buhay” in 2019 with Sinta co-star Catherine Melendrez.

According to Pep, Ariosto’s years-long battle with cancer worsened a few weeks ago. Three days before his death, he fell into a coma.

One day they decided to meet in SF, when Ariosto was going back to the Philippines.

“Nag stopover siya sa SF pauwi Manila. So, he called me up to meet up. When we were there in that resto, reminisce to the max ng “Lovingly Yours Helen”.

“Then we called Redgie Acuna Magno via Messenger to say HELLO. Hayun na! Gawa d
