She may be the Queen of Christmas to most, but to Moroccan and Monroe, affectionately nicknamed Roc and Roe, Mariah Carey is just mom.
The "Fantasy" singer, 55, first became a mom in 2011, when she welcomed her twins with her husband at the time, Nick Cannon.
The former couple had tied the knot in 2008, and welcomed their first and only children together (the TV host has welcomed ten others) on their third wedding anniversary, on April 30, 2011.
Though Mariah and Nick divorce five years later, they have remained friends, and their kids' biggest supporters. "They're a lot, but they give me so much love in return. I wouldn't be the same person without them," the doting mom told People in 2019, adding: "I think Nick and I have done pretty well in co-parenting, staying friends with each other so that we can talk."

Mariah Carey Now: Singer’s Mom and Sister Died on the Same Day
Mariah Carey is grieving the deaths of two family members. The 55-year-old singer confirmed in an August 26 statement that both her mother, Patricia, and her sister, Alison, recently died on the same day. Pat was 87 years old, and Alison was 63.
“My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day,” Carey told People. “I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed. I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”
Mariah didn’t share details about the causes of death, but the Times Union reported Alison died in hospice care following complications with her internal organs.

On September 27, 2020, American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey revealed in her memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey that she secretly recorded and produced the album with her friend Clarissa Dane, under the moniker "Chick". The album was recorded at the time Carey was simultaneously recording her fifth studio album Daydream (1995).[1]
