Career, biography and origin of guy tirolien
Guy Tirolien was born on May 13, 1917 in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, into a modest family. He was the son of Léon Tirolien, an office worker, and Marie-Ange Tirolien, a talented seamstress. Guy was the third child of five, with two older sisters and two younger brothers. Tirolien’s passion for poetry and literature was sparked at a young age by his father, who was himself an amateur poet. Encouraged by his parents, Guy Tirolien devoted a lot of time to reading and writing, thus developing his talents and nourishing his imagination. After completing his secondary education in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guy moved to France to pursue his higher education. He enrolled at the Sorbonne in Paris, where he studied philosophy and literature.
