Arjun Rampal (born 26 November 1972) is an Indianactor, television personality, model and film producer known for his work in Bollywood films. Rampal made his debut in romance Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001) for which he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. However the film performed poorly at the box-office as did the next two films he starred in the same year, Moksha, and Deewaanapan.[1][2] The heist thriller Aankhen where he appeared opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar proved to be his first commercially successful film.[1] However Rampal's career declined as he starred in a number of films that performed poorly at the box-office such as Dil Ka Rishta (2003), Asambhav (2004), Ek Ajnabee (2005), and Darna Zaroori Hai (2006).[1][3]

Rampal's breakthrough came with his appearance in the 2006 action thriller Don opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.[3] Rampal followed this by playing the antagonist in Om Shanti Om (2007) with Shah Rukh Khan

From Jabalpur, Arjun Rampal went to Delhi to complete his education.

In 1994, Arjun proclaimed the title for 'Society's Face Of The Year'. And soon after went on to become an Indian Supermodel.

From there, director-producer Rajiv Rai started promoting Arjun Rampal. Rajiv first made Arjun a part of his music video "Don't Marry" with model Namrata Baruwah doing the female honors for the music video. Then Rajiv again cast Arjun but this time in his film. The movie was titled "Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat" (2001). He was cast alongside Kirti Reddy, Sunil Shetty and Aftab Shivdasani. Though the film didn't perform at the box office, Arjun managed to make his way into people's hearts.

Arjun Rampal starred in in Don (2006) and Rock On!! (2008), with the latter winning him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. He also earned acclaim for his villainous roles in Om Shanti Om (2007) and Ra.One (2011).
